We aim to provide interesting and informative ideas and opinion from the intranet world to the wider tech community.

Contributions are welcome from anyone with something to say about intranets or tech: we want to hear about news, new developments, intranet information or tech trends. If there’s an intranet or tech subject that you love, hate, or even feel a bit ‘meh’ about, then please let us know.

We would be especially interested to hear ideas from anyone who has hands-on experience of using intranets day-to-day, whether you’re a developer, an intranet manager, an I.T./I.S. person or someone who uses an intranet as part of their job. Do let us know what you think, because we’d be delighted to publish your piece  if you have something you want to say.

This blog is maintained by staff from Orchid Software, a UK-based intranet software development house; you can visit our website at www.orchidsoft.com. We’ll post some pieces that you can also find on our company blog at www.orchidsoft.com/blog, but there’s plenty of room for dedicated material too.

We’d rather that this was an open forum for general intranet discussion, rather than focusing on ourselves - we’re just being honest about who we are, in case anyone was wondering.
